Healthy Coconut Macaroons 4 ingredients and 10 minutes
I have to admit I love coconut probably just as much as I love peanut butter. There is something about the sweet flaky crisps that I can't get enough of and I will frequently add them to things just because I can. I also love cookies but over the years have traded buttery,flaky sugary goodies for healthier options. Don't get me wrong I am not the food police and I will taste other peoples homemade creations from time to time but I can't bring that into my home, ill eat it. Living a healthy lifestyle is also about finding balance and sometimes my grandma's cookies are exactly what I need but not something my body needs everyday. But just like these cookies I am going to keep this post short, sweet and to the point. Ingredients:- 1 cup of organic coconut
- 1 egg white
- 1/4 cup coconut brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
- Place tablespoon drops on a non greased cookie sheet, should make about 16
- Preheat oven to 350 F
- Bake for 10 minutes, you should be able to smell the sweet aroma when they are done
- Let cool and enjoy!
