Helpful Tips For Boosting Your Confidence, Health And Happiness

If we're being truly honest with ourselves, we'd have to admit that we aren't happy with our looks 24/7. Studies have found that 89% of American women are unhappy with their appearance and 84% want to lose weight. That likely doesn't shock anyone. What I find shocking is that more than a third of women, according to research collected by Happify, say that concerns about what they eat or weigh has interfered with their happiness. I've been there. Maybe you have too. Developing a positive body image is the only long term solution. It is so closely linked to self esteem that it cannot be ignored. Exercise is a great way to get the ball rolling in the right direction. People who exercise regularly feel better about their appearance -- no matter what they weigh -- than people who don't. And don't forget that exercise is a wonderful mood booster.
