High Protein Meals for Vegetarians

Meat-free meals are certainly not a favorite of this meat-loving carnivore, but there are always times when it's nice to have a meal without any saturated fat! I can do the vegetarian thing at least once or twice a week, though I'm always happier when I've got chicken, steak, or turkey on my plate. Finding vegetarian sources of protein can be tough for athletic vegetarians, and it gets even harder for vegans! For those who are trying to take meat out of their lives, here are a few delicious vegetarian meals that are loaded with protein:

Broccoli Tofu Cashew Noodles

Sounds odd, but it's really quite tasty! A bit of pasta goes a long way towards giving you fuel for your workout, plus the cashews, tofu, and broccoli are a good source of healthy protein.   [caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="625"] Source: wholefoodsmarket.com[/caption]

Black Bean Salad

Go full on vegan/vegetarian with this delicious salad, made with quinoa, black beans, corn, tomatoes, cucumbers, avocadoes, lettuce, and a hint of cilantro. Egg, Kale, and Bean Stew

This hearty stew can be made with or without cheese (depending  on just how anti-dairy you are), but the eggs, beans, and kale are loaded with up to 28 grams of protein per bowl. Vegan Chili

You normally expect chili to be made with meat, but this is a bean-heavy version of the spicy dish that we all know and love. Stuffed Sweet Potatoes

Stuff your sweet potatoes with black beans, poached eggs or egg whites, arugula, and even a bit of cheese. Bean Kale Burgers

This is not something I'd recommend to most people, but it's a dish I can secretly enjoy without having my "Manliness Card" revoked. Egg-in-a-Hole Grilled Cheese

Two of the things I love most in the world combined into one?! Yes please! Whip yourself up a delicious egg-in-a-hole, but with holes in two slices of bread instead of one. Stuff the cheese in the middle, and serve the dish with plenty of dark green veggies for a hearty helping of protein. Vegan Tacos

Having lived in Mexico for so many years, this sounded sacrilegious to me at first. Once I tried this mixture of soy-based chorizo, refried black beans, and grilled onions served on flour tortillas, I was hooked!   [caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="625"] Source: bonappetit.com[/caption] These are just a few of the delicious vegetarian, meat-free options you can cook while still getting plenty of proteins. The sky and your creative mind are the limit!

We ship within Canada and the United States via FedEx with expedited 2-Day shipping.

For locations outside of the US and Canada, we ship using FedEx International, which is usually in transit for 5-7 business days, depending on location.

We ship all of our physical products with FedEx, from our warehouse location in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Signatures are required on all orders.

Returns & Exchanges

We offer a 30-day return policy, as long as: it is not more than 30 days past the date of delivery; and your item is in its original condition and packaging with the original order number. Refunds will be issued when the equipment is received back to the BodyRock warehouse, minus the original cost of shipping, and the customer is responsible for the costs of return shipping. To request a refund on physical product purchases, please contact us.

Digital Products

We cannot issue refunds on digital goods such as e-books or videos, as these are non-tangible goods that are irrevocable once the order is placed.
