How To Get Better At Anything You Do
As the ancient Chinese proverb states, "a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." No matter what changes or adjustments you are trying to make in your life, this proverb rings true. In order to reach your goal, you simply have to start. But sometimes these goals can feel daunting and more than a little bit overwhelming.

Keeping yourself headed in the right direction doesn't have to be so difficult. If you have a huge task to accomplish, break it down into smaller increments that you can achieve on a daily basis. Small habits can make a big difference.
Have you set weight loss or fitness goals in the past only to give up before you reach the end? If so, you are far from alone, but it doesn't have to be that way. You don't have to be stuck in a cycle of goal setting and disappointment. You can break free!
To reach a long term goal, you need to hit a bunch of small term "goals" first.
For example, drinking more water is an important task when it comes to losing weight. If you find the idea of drinking mass quantities of water to be a little too much, break it down! First thing in the morning -- even before your coffee, have a big glass of water. Carry a bottle of water around with you all day and commit to taking a drink of water before you eat any food. Even a small bite or snack, water first. It may not seem like much but this little change to your routine, will go a long way to helping you hit your daily water intake goals. And these daily water intake goals will help you reach your overall weight loss goal. Small steps, on a long journey.
