How To Safely Remove Ear Wax At Home
Ear wax build-up is not only painful, it can lead to a whole bunch of trouble from hearing loss to ear infections, which, of course, is something most of us hope to avoid. However, seeing as how we have been told our default Q-tip cleaning method is doing more harm than good, what are we to do?
Fortunately, there are ways to remove ear wax that don't involve shoving an instrument into the ear or going to see a doctor! In the comfort and safety of your own home, you can loosen the wax enough to let it drain naturally.

- Pour a bit of warm water into your ear, leave it for a few seconds and then let it drain. Be sure to use clean water that is not too hot. Hot water can do damage to your ear and increase your risk of infection!
- Another method is to put 3 or 4 drops of hydrogen peroxide into the ear with a sterilized dropper. Drain after one minute.
