I'm sleepy ALL THE TIME. What gives?

We hear you, friend. You're fading out just before lunch? Maybe having a snack to get to that noon mark? After lunch, things are clicking along nicely, and then WHAMMO —narcolepsy. We've been there. 2PM rolls around and you are already dreaming about your bed.

Listen up: YOU ARE NOT LAZY.

And you're not sick! You're not even a hypochondriac, despite what your bff says. You're just one of billions of people around the world who eats too much bread and pasta. We're not trying to convince you to make a massive change. We are trying to communicate one small truth so that you can decide for yourself if it is time to take your health into your own hands. Like almost everything in life, once you give it a try you'll find it's really not that hard.

Don't change your diet to reduce belly fat or fit into that outfit from last summer. You're gorgeous already! Also, those benefits will come in time, but the main factor you will see happen immediately is SO MUCH ENERGY. Don't get us wrong: we love pasta too! And danishes, and panini, and pizza and....ok, we have to stop here because we're getting hungry.... But the amount of carbs we currently "treat" ourselves to are far, far over the limit of what our body needs, and what our brains can handle. Is it really worth the brain fog, the sads, the fear that you don't have what it takes to get up the stairs, or finish the work day? You have no idea how unnecessary those thoughts really are. If you're casting about for an excellent guide, complete with a Meal Plan and recipes, check out our BodyRock Meal PlanChanging your relationship with food will change your relationship with your body. You will pack healthy snacks in the morning rather than eating a muffin from the café down the street, and not because WE tell you to do so, but simply because you want to.

You have the answers.

It's time to decide you are worth it.

Try this easy recipe tonight!

Tarragon Roasted Chicken

tarragon_chicken 2 gloves of garlic 6 chicken breasts 2 tsp dried tarragon 1⁄4 white wine (use 1⁄4 cup water with 1 tsp lemon juice if you’d prefer to opt out of the wine) 1 tbsp olive oil Serves 6. 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and spray cooking sheet with non-stick spray. Place chicken on the sheet. 2. Cut one of your garlic cloves in half and then rub it on your chicken breasts. 3. Mince remaining garlic and combine it in a small bowl with the tarragon, wine and oil. Mix and brush over your chicken. 4. Put cooking sheet in the oven and bake for 35 minutes. REMEMBER TO MAKE LOW-CARB SIDE DISHES! Asparagus, spinach or broccoli salad, or just raw veggies. The possibilities are endless and delicious.
