Is Lululemon Recalling Your Hoodie?
If you’re craving a new article of workout clothing to add to your wardrobe, you might want to opt for some patterned yoga crops or a new tank top for the time being. At least you won’t have to worry about getting a see-through pair of Lulu pants anymore!
Lululemon announced last Thursday that more than 300,000 of their women’s hoodies would be recalled after receiving several complaints that the drawstrings were inflicting eye and face injuries.
Many of their hoodies are designed with metal tipped drawstrings, making them potentially dangerous while in use. One wrong move while running could send a drawstring straight into your eye.
Although, the risk is minimal and no one has been seriously injured, the company decided to address the problem and overhaul the line, recalling several styles from the current line and those from 2014.
Lulu’s decision was made to ensure that their products work for their customers and that they’re providing top-notch quality.
After the last fiasco, the company can’t afford any more mistakes. However, their products remain favourites among Canadians and yoga lovers alike. Who doesn’t love a good pair of pants that give you a Kim Kardashian bum?
