Jennifer Garner's Fresh Fitness and Beauty Secrets for Summer

Jennifer Garner is excited to spend this summer relaxing, but the busy actress and mother won't be letting her body or her beauty routines fall off course. In the summer months, the incredibly fit star finds hiking with friends a beneficial way to get active. Hiking is a powerful cardio workout and core strengthener. "There's so many great hikes all over LA. I feel really lucky to live there and be able to take advantage of them." Jen tells Women's Health. When she's not hitting the hiking trails of Los Angeles, Jen enjoys swimming with her three children, Violet (10), Seraphina (6) and Samuel (3). "Whenever you're in the water, you have to be super careful because the water magnifies the effects of the sun." advises Jen. The actress keeps her self and her family covered with SPF - it is a 100%  "non-negiotable" part of her daily routine.  She understands the dangers of sun exposure, not only can it age your skin but it can lead to many health problems and even cancer. Jen says she always wears an SPF 30 or higher on her face and her body. By instilling the importance of sun screen in her children at an early age, she is teaching them an important health habit that which she hopes they will remember always.
