Kill it With Cardio #4: Cycling
I'm not a huge fan of the stationary bike, as it's a bit monotonous and boring. For me, it's all about the open road, with the wind in my face and fresh air in my lungs.
But no matter where you do it, cycling can be one of the best cardio workouts around. It may not be easy on your butt, but it's great for your knees, back, and upper body when done correctly.

The beauty of cycling is that you can burn a lot of calories without realizing just how much work you're doing:

- Mountain biking will burn between 500 and 800 calories per hour
- Cycling at a slow pace will burn between 250 and 400 calories per hour
- Cycling at a moderate to fast pace will burn between 500 and 750 calories per hour
- Racing can burn as much as 1500 calories in a single hour!
