Is Kim’s Huge Arse A Good Thing For Women?

May 06, 2014 1 min read

A recent daily mail articlereports on Kourtney Kardashian displaying a truly Kim-like ass on a vacay at The Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas, yet another story about the Kardashian family with lots of photos, and not a lot of content. Kardashian ass I am personally not a fan of the Kardashian Klan. I think that their media presence does not in any way line up with their merits, and that they are generally not the best people. BUT, for once, I’m not here to bash the Kardashians. Regardless of what I think about how or why they got famous, I’m curious about the effect that the famed Kardashian ass has had on body positivity. That is, have Kim’s several gratuitous selfies helped usher in a better acceptance of varying body types? Kim certainly doesn’t fit the Victoria’s Secret angels mold, but she’s certainly seen as sexy by a large number of people – have the Kardashians managed to promote a wider hipped, bigger bottomed category of sexy? So, will I be watching “Kourtney and Khloe Take The Hamptons” this fall (because yes, there’s yet another reality show about the Kardashians)? No, probably not. Kourtney-and-Khloe-Take-The-Hamptons-490x292 Do I care about which is the most boot-iful of all? Nope, not really.     Kardashian ass KimKardashian ass3 But am I fan of anything and anyone that promotes body positivity and an acceptance of widening beauty standards? Hells yeah.
