Kylie Jenner, 17: Has Reportedly Had Six Or More Plastic Surgeries
In a world saturated by all things Kardashian, it shouldn't surprise anyone that a new report has surfaced claiming 17 year old Kylie Jenner has undergone what amounts to a complete facial reconstruction.
Why do we care enough to publish on this subject? Because millions of young women - many of whom are tweens, look up to the youngest member of this showbiz clan as a role-model. We happen to think that when you are a role-model you have a moral responsibility to positively impact those people (especially young people) that look up to you. Having multiple elective cosmetic procedures at 17 is setting an incredibly bad precedent. For the record, we are not against cosmetic surgery. People can choose to modify their bodies - its a personal decision - but one we feel that should be reserved for adults.
The twist in all of this of course will be the denials from the Kardashian clan. Every excuse and dodge will be offered - but I'm not sure that these drastic changes can be explained away with the tried and true "make-up contouring" BS that is the go-to explanation. If you are going to physically alter your appearance and you are a role-model at least own up to it so that the legions of impressionable fans and followers that hang on your every tweet and Instagram picture have a more realistic appreciation for what authentic changes are possible - without going under the knife. Rant over.

Although Kylie has publicly denied getting any surgery but Ok! Magazine claims that the reality star, who just purchased a $2.7 million dollar home, got a breast augmentation, an eyebrow lift, upper eyelid surgery, a chin implant, jaw reshaping and a nose job.
“Kylie never saw surgery as being taboo, because her sister have all done it,” an insider says. “She sees it as a means to an end.”
This all stems from having her “awkward” years out there for the entire world to see on Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
“Going through her awkward phase [on TV], she was severely bullied and subjected to harsh public scrutiny,” adds the source. “All she ever heard was people talking about how much prettier Kim, Kendall and even Kris were.”
