Kylie Jenner Admits Her Lips Are Fake
Kylie Jenner, the 17 year old member of the Kardashian clan has admitted to receiving lip filler injections to get that highly sought-after super pout! The teen has been under scrutiny by the media for months as to whether or not her lips are real. Kylie even sparked a social media trend where young girls went to dangerous extremes to plump up their lips by sucking on shot glasses.
Kylie's confession was prompted by sisters Khloe and Kim, who wanted her to come clean and stop the social media madness.
"I'm not here to try & encourage people/young girls to look like me or to think this is the way they should look." Kylie explained on Twitter. Like most teen girls, Kylie has body image issues and explains her lips were a source of insecurity for her. She wants her fans to know that what she does for the sake of beauty is her own choice, and not something she encourages or is trying to make trendy.
We take issue with 17 year old girls having elective cosmetic procedures. Adults doing it is one thing and we reserve no judgements there, but children should not be going under the knife or at the end of a needle. It sets a terrible example for kids at a highly impressionable age - and like it or not, this girl has more social influence than teachers, professors - probably most politicians. She has an audience of tens of millions of other kids looking up to her and thats why we object.
