Kylie Jenner Teaches Us The Importance Of Loving Our Bodies

If there is one thing you could change about yourself, what would it be? As women, we think about this question a lot. We want smaller thighs, a slimmer waist, a straighter smile or clearer skin. There is always something about us we want to keep covered up and hidden away because we can't quite embrace it as part of who we are. For Kylie Jenner, her biggest body insecurity has been a large scar. The massive scar on her left thigh may be something many of us would try and hide, but Kylie is ready to embrace. [bctt tweet="Kylie Jenner Teaches Us The Importance Of Loving Our Bodies"] In a recent Instagram post, the Kardashian/Jenner sister said, "I love my scar" as a picture showed her imperfection on display while she sat in a makeup chair. The injury was sustained one day when a 5-year-old Kylie was outside playing hide and seek. After a while when my sister didn't find me I had to climb up on this sharp pole sticking out from the gate. I tried pulling away to get the pole out but it just tore through my whole leg." says the aspiring model.  Her message rings true for all of us. No matter the size or form of your insecurity, loving yourself  and embracing what makes you unique is important. Whether it be stretch marks, a mole, a skin pigmentation or a birthmark, we are all born with or develop something that sets us apart. Life is too short to hide these markings away under makeup or clothes! If you are insecure about something, this is your time to challenge yourself and set your insecurities free.
