Kate Upton: The Line Between Cheap & Sexy
Kate Upton is one of my favourite models; she’s curvy, approachable, gorgeous, and gracious. The 21-year-old model discusses the line between cheap and sexy in an interview for the April issue of Vogue, saying:
With the amount of skimpy bikinis that she’s put in, it can be hard to toe that line, but Kate seems to manage fine. Even in zero gravity. Alright, I guess some could argue that the AMOUNT of skimpy bikinis she’s put in could make her seem a bit cheap on occasion– but I refuse to accept that idea – Kate is classy and you can’t change my mind. If it was about the subject of Vogue’s cover describing sexy vs. cheap, well… let’s just say that I am personally not a Kim K fan and leave it at that.
She truly has had a meteoric rise to fame, the face of Sports Illustrated two years in a row, the new face of Bobbi Brown cosmetics, her featured spot in Vogue, and with 1.26 million twitter followers, Upton is a total pro, and possibly the most down-to-earth sex symbol there could be.
I definitely have limits. There's a line between becoming, you know, a little cheap and cheesy versus being sexy. And I try to be very careful of that line.
