Man Loses Over 200 Pounds While Working At A Fast Food Restaurant

John Likely is amazing. Likely used to weigh 500 pounds and found it difficult to stand for more than 10 minutes at a time. After getting a job at Zaxby's, an Alabama fast food joint, his life changed. Likely's manager, Clint Short, and the other employees at Zaxby's gave Likely the tools and the strength to get healthy. Likely says, “They gave me life... They gave me hope. They actually believed in me." Short acted as Likely's trainer and co-worker OT Green helped him in the nutrition department. The owner of Zaxby's, Scott Brown, hooked Likely up with a gym membership. The entire staff banded together to help him avoid the temptations of the fried food he was serving up everyday. Now, Likely is down to 239 pounds and shares his tale with anyone who will listen. "Everybody who I see I’m telling them about healthy living,” he said. “And this is from the 500 pound John Likely from back in the day. If you do this and you do that, if you have faith and believe in yourself you can do anything.” He's right. With a little faith and a little support, you can be unstoppable.
