Master the Move #3: Glute Bridges

Welcome to Master the Move. In this new series, we will focus on one specific exercise at time to break it down for you to learn it a little better for your next HIIT workout. Our next move to master is the Glute BridgeThis is a great total booty & ab toner-all in one move. How to: cloth_diaper
  1. Lie on your back on an exercise mat or the floor in a bent-knee position with your feet flat on the floor. Place your feet hip-width apart with the toes facing away from you.
  2. Gently contract your abdominal muscles to flatten your low back into the floor.
  3. Gently exhale, keeping the abdominals engaged and lift your hips up off the floor. Press your heels into the floor for added stability.
  4. Inhale and slowly lower yourself back to your starting position.
