Food To Be Fit: Mint & Honey Ruby Red
This snack is under 100 calories, however, there is quite a bit of sugar in this recipe. The 1/2 grapefruit has approximately 8g of natural sugar, with an additional 6g of sugar from the honey. 14g of sugar is a lot, so please consider this information when it comes to your honey portion control, and how much other sugar you have eaten already, or will be eating on the same day.
- 1/2 ruby red grapefruit
- 20 mint leaves
- 1 tsp honey
- Cut both ends off the grapefruit, and then cut in half to make two circles (one circle = one serving)
- Cut like a pie.
- Thinly julienne mint leaves and sprinkle over grapefruit.
- Drizzle with honey.
