Mint Tea Mojitos

I love tea infused anything, actually I’m just a huge tea fan in general. Tea infused cocktails however are my specialty. Tea brings much added flavour without the calories. Any alcoholic beverage is going to be unhealthy, but since I’m not giving up alcohol anytime soon, then I might as well try to make them healthier. Ingredients:
  • 2.5 cups of mint tea
  • ½ cup of white rum
  • ¼ cup lime juice
  • ¼ cup agave
  • ice
  • fresh mint leaves
  • lime wedges
minteamojito2 Directions:
  1. Brew the tea, about 4-8 minutes, and let cool.
  2. Stir together rum, agave, and lime juice in a large pitcher.
  3. Fill the pitcher with ice, and pour the tea over it, mixing everything together.
  4. Pour into a glass and garnish with fresh mint and lime wedges
You can use any kind of mint tea you like, I opted for Mint Julep from David’s tea, which is technically a black tea with spearmint in it. Super refreshing and tasty, you can adjust the sweetness to your liking. Great for summer barbecues or a girls’ night.
