Naked Turkey Burgers
Have you ever tried a turkey burger only to find yourself disappointed or left wishing you had just ordered the regular burger? Well, with this recipe you may never eat a regular hamburger again! I believe the secret to a great Turkey burger is the poultry seasoning, but when you combine all of the ingredients below you get are certain to have happy taste buds. I even went a little further and added a fried egg to the top of mine and some avocado for added healthy fats. I always look for a way to incorporate an egg into my sandwiches for the added protein!
Ingredients:
1lb extra lean ground turkey
1 egg white
1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp poultry seasoning
1/4 tsp Dijon mustard
Combine all ingredients and mix well using your hands! Cook on a grill to your desired temperature!
NUTRITION DATA Per serving (serves 2): 353 calories, 60.8 grams protein, 21.9 grams carbohydrates, 2.5 grams fat.
