Natasha Hastings Talks Body Confidence for All Shades, Sizes and Colors

Being a woman means a multitude of things, but it certainly doesn't mean you have to be one thing or the other. You can have muscles and still wear a dress. You can sweat and still wear earrings. You can cross the finish line of a race with a fighting face, all while you let your long hair flow freely. You can be and look however you want to. Natasha Hastings And if you're a professional athlete, there are plenty of people who will tell you otherwise. They will pick up where fat shaming or skinny shaming left off, and tell you that your arms are too defined; too bulky; too much like a man's. But for Olympic Gold Medalist Natasha Hastings, that just won't do. Not only is she confident in her physique, she is proud of it. Every muscle has brought her to where she is today. Her chiseled abs, strong legs and toned arms show her incredibly sexy athleticism. No one can bring her down to build themselves up. Natasha Hastings "As much as I'm a girly girl, I love being buff because it makes me look pretty intimidating — I can still come off as a badass. I love going to the gym and lifting the same size weights as guys lift," says Hastings. "It's unfortunate that some people don't appreciate women's athletic bodies. I think we live in a world where beauty comes in so many different shades, sizes, and colors. I think it's insane to try to put beauty in this box. It's just other people projecting their own insecurities onto you." Hastings hopes other women will stop the self-shaming and make more room for self-esteem, because all bodies are beautiful.
