The Perfect London Broil

My husband absolutely loves it when I make London Broil. And the great thing is-I do not have to actually broil it! I just sear it all. Ingredients
  • 1 London Broil (2lb)
  • 4 tbsp olive oil  (save 1 tbsp for later)
  • 5 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 5 tbsp soy sauce
  • 4 tbsp coarse salt (save 1 tbsp for later)
  • 3 tbsp ground pepper
Directions
  1. In a bowl, mix 3 tbsp olive oil with the Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, salt, and pepper.
  2. In a gallon zip lock bag, marinate the meat with the sauce mixture.
  3. Let marinate anywhere from 4 hours to 24 hours.
  4. When ready to cook, remove meat from ziplock bag and discard marinade.
  5. Pat the meat dry and let sit at room temp for 30 minutes.
  6. Heat a skillet on HI for 2 minutes.
  7. Coat meat with remaining 1 tbsp olive oil.
  8. Place 1 tbsp salt in the hot skillet and add the meat.
  9. Sear for 7 minutes on one side. Flip.
  10. Sear for an additional 5 minutes on the other side.
  11. Remove from pan and lay on a cutting board.
  12. Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing against the grain.
  13. Serve with fresh veggies and brown rice.
