Your Perfect Vegetarian July 4th Meal: Portobello Provolone Burgers
Portobello Burger
Ingredients
- 1 Portobello mushroom cap
- 1 wheat or whole grain hamburger bun (Ezekiel makes some)
- 1 slice provolone cheese
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- salt/pepper to taste
- Season Portobello cap with Worcestershire sauce, olive oil, and seasonings.
- Grill for 5 minutes on each side or bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
- Place on a hamburger bun, add cheese, and dress how you like.
