Pita Chip Cups

Absolutely ideal for scooping hummus with, these pita chip cups are super easy and delicious. Ingredients:
  • 4 whole wheat pitas
  • 1 -2 tbsp olive oil
  • sea salt, or preferred spices
Directions:
  1. Using a circular cookie cutter, cut the pitas into rounds and separate the pita
  2. Brush each circle with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt
  3. Microwave pita bread for 10 seconds so that’s it’s more malleable, and press into a muffin tin
  4. Bake at 375F for 10 – 15 minutes
pitachipcups You can of course make regular ol’ pita chips by just cutting up the pita into triangles, but cups are so much more fun. You can also keep the pita layers together, but I like mine nice and crispy, and the cups kind of work better this way. This makes about
