Plus-Size Model Denise Bidot Stuns in New Body Confidence Campaign

This summer has been all about promoting body acceptance in hopes of changing the way we view what the perfect body type entails. From viral open letters exposing the horrendous bullying some people have gone through, to hashtags and ad campaigns showing a plethora of people down to their skivvies, with body types across the board, society is working hard to make this world a kinder, more open-minded place to live in. One of the most inspiring campaigns of the summer comes from the online retailer Swimsuitsforall, which is dedicated to providing swimsuits for curvy women everywhere. The company recently released a completely un-retouched video of plus-size model Denise Bidot sporting a variety of their suits on the beach as she rolls around in the water and sand. The campaign is called "Beach Body. Not Sorry." Throughout the short video, Bidot encourages women everywhere to accept their bodies, and says all the things she once considered to be imperfections about her body, like her cellulite and stretch marks, now serve as beautiful reminders that she is just human, and should love every inch of herself from the inside out. "It's all about the confidence," Bidot says. She encourages women not to feel self-conscious about their bodies, especially if they're curvy, but to rock what they've got, and create a healthy relationship to swimsuits and the beach, because they'e not just meant for one figure.
