I proved myself wrong and love that I did.....being wrong is sometimes the best thing you can do.

It has been nearly 9 months since Laine came into the world.... She is a wonderful blessing and gift to my life and has given me strength, courage and determination I never knew I had or could have. As well as for the first time in my life I had the challenge of not just staying fit but getting fit....I think this has been one of the best spiritual, emotional, personal and professional challenges I could ever wish for. It was a challenge so big for me that at first I was not sure fitness would be part of my life after becoming a mom....but I proved myself wrong and love that I did.....being wrong is sometimes the best thing you can do. Without our obstacles and challenges we wouldn't be who we are today, we wouldn't have the knowledge, wisdom and strengths we have today. Obstacles are not our hitching posts but our guide posts. Life is all about our choices right here, right now and it is never too late to make a new choice. We can embrace each day wanting to conquer the day and what life throws at us; or we can choose to play victim and be unhappy and bitter about what life throws at us. There is always two choices and the best thing is, you hold the power to make the choice negative or positive...There are always many challenges and obstacles along our paths but don't let yourself be one of them. The photos below are of me 2 months before I was pregnant, about 29 weeks pregnant, about 3 weeks after birth when I started to workout again and finally 8 months later after being blessed to become a mom.  Everybody has a different journey to tell, there is no right or wrong way in life there is only another way.  You must find your way. I train for fitness, I train for mental clarity, I train to meditate, I train to challenge my mis-beliefs and to affirm my positive beliefs, I train for fun, I train to experience the mental and emotional HIGH, I train to motivate and inspire other's, I train to experience my freedom, I train to let my senses absorb the beauty which surrounds me, I train because it's convenient, I train to get away, I train to journey somewhere, I train to experience a good healthy sweat, challenged breathing, and the muscle burning feeling of accomplishment, I train because I love my family and I train simply because I love to train.
You can do anything you set your mind to. What seems hard now will be your warm up one day. You are worth it, you are beautiful and brave. You deserve a life that makes you happy. No matter what anyone else has ever said (sometimes including yourself) this is the truth.
