Your Puppy Loves You Like A Baby Loves Its Mother
It is no longer just something you hope for. It is now science. Our puppies really do love us!
A study has shown that when a dog looks into its owner's eyes, it gets the same feeling of love that a baby does for its mother.
It is also the same feeling you get when you look into the eyes of the one you love.
The study, by Takefumi Kikusui from Azabu University in Japan found that because humans and dogs have been living together for so long, we are evolving side by side. Humans and dogs have independently acquired tolerance of one another. We love dogs, dogs love us.
Evolution is notoriously thrifty,” wrote Evan MacLean and Brian Hare in Science. [The] findings suggest that dogs have taken advantage of our parental sensitivities—using behaviors such as staring into our eyes—to generate feelings of social reward and caretaking behaviour.”

Thank you, oxytocin: The love hormone

Oxytocin is released into the bloodstream after a mother gives birth and during breastfeeding.

The exciting news, is that puppies feel it when they look into our eyes.

This is because of evolution.

Which means this critter loves you!

And this guy too!

This one wants to be BFFs

This guy thinks you're amazaing

This little monster wants to spend the rest of his life with you.
