Put Someone Else in The Spotlight For Lifting

Have you heard of the new campaign called #GetSomeoneLifting? It is asocial media campaign and you are invited to be part of it. The idea of it is actually quite simple – offer to lift weights with someone who typically will avoid dumbbells as if they are the plague! This doesn’t have to be an intense CrossFit workout. All you have to do is introduce a co-worker, a friend, niece, or just anyone. Introduce them so they won’t be intimidated anymore. After the first partner workout is complete, schedule the next one together. Keep scheduling different sessions together to get them used to it. Share the progress via social media with the #GetSomeoneLifting. It’s time to motivate the person you chose! You can check out some strength-training moves for inspiration. Once you get those first few sessions in with your friend, co-worker, or whoever else, it should become an easier process for them. Would you give up the spotlight to help get someone else into lifting? Source: Shape
