Ray Rice wins appeal, is allowed to play in the NFL again
Ray Rice has won his appeal of his indefinite suspension by the NFL, and now is free to play in the professional league again.
The Baltimore Ravens running back was suspended indefinitely this past September when a video of him hitting his then-fiancee (and now wife) Janay Palmer unconscious in an elevator went viral.
The football player was originally only given a two-game suspension but that was later changed to a more severe 'indefinite suspension' penalty. However, former U.S Judge Barbara S. Jones has since overturned the suspension.
While Rice has been reinstated, he is no longer on the Baltimore Ravens roster and is now considered a free agent.
Tell us your thoughts: Do you think it's fair Rice's suspension has been lifted? Do you think Rice has a chance of getting signed by another NFL team?
