Sam Smith Says It's 'Tough To Stay Healthy' While Touring

Singing sensation Sam Smith has made tremendous strides to lose weight recently! Earlier this year, he wowed fans by dropping 14 pounds in 14 days. He updated his Instagram with a reflection on how far he's come, and the challenges he still faces when it comes to food. sam smith weight loss "[I'm] just driving home more than EVER how important I think it is for us to eat more healthy." Sam explained via social media. "All I’ll say is if you can…. Try to find a way to be healthy. It will make you so much happier." The British musician also noted that it has been a struggle for him to keep his new diet of fibrous, nutritious greens like kale and smoothies in check when on the road. "It has been SO tough to stay healthy and a few times, I’ve been left with the choice of…. Eat this, or don’t eat anything for a day.” explains Sam. Sam is currently touring through America, and has been tempted many times by fast food. Remarkably, he has only allowed himself a few cheat meals. Putting his battles with weight behind him was no easy task, but he's making great strides and encouraging others to do the same!
