Save Your Skin This Summer!

There are hundreds and hundreds of different brands of bug repellents and sunscreens out there, and all the hype can make it hard to tell what is actually good for you and what can cause harm.

While many bug repellents have gone DEET free, some of the natural ingredients in the sprays or lotions are agitating skin and respiratory systems just the same.

Here is one simple tip to help keep any harmful bug spray ingredients out of your bloodstream: Apply your sunscreen at least 30 minutes before your bug repellent. This time lapse will let the sunscreen sit and help prevent the bug repellent from being absorbed into your skin.
