We all poop. That's just a fact of life. But do we do it right?
According to science, we definitely don't.
Most of us sit on a toilet to go to the bathroom. But that 90-degree angle only creates a blockage in the intestines which makes us strain. So what's the right way to do it?
“1.2 billion people around the world who squat have almost no incidence of diverticulosis and fewer problems with piles,” notes writer and scientist, Giulia Enders.
All that strain we are putting ourselves through doesn't lead to anywhere good. In fact, it can cause diverticulosis, swollen tissue, and blood vessels around both the colon as well as the anus. So what can we do?

Rather than throw out our toilets, we can simply put a footstool in front of us when we are going to the bathroom, which will raise our feet.
Did you know that you were essentially pooping wrong?
