Skinny Crockpot Pulled Pork

I love using my crockpot. It is a lifesaver! It is nice to simply throw dinner in the pot and forget about it the entire day or overnight and come home or wake up to it already prepared and waiting. My husband's favorite dish that I made is crockpot pulled pork. You literally do nothing! You cook the pork until it falls apart-Ugh, I am DROOLING! Here is my skinny version of crockpot pulled pork, using a couple of new ingredients that you may never have heard of, but you will be glad you tried! Skinny Crockpot Pulled Pork Ingredients
  • 2 lbs. Pork Tenderloin
  • 1 bottle of Annie's Organic BBQ Sauce
  • 1 can of Blue Sky Organic Root Beer Soda
  • 1 package of Ezekiel Sprouted Grains hamburger buns


  1. Place the pork tenderloin in a slow cooker; pour the root beer over the meat.
  2. Cover and cook on low until well cooked and the pork shreds easily, 6 to 7 hours.
  3. Note: the actual length of time may vary according to individual slow cooker and the actual cut of meat.
  4. Drain well.
  5. Stir in barbecue sauce.
  6. Serve over hamburger buns.
