Target Turns To Fashion Bloggers For A Revamp Of Plus Size Clothing Line

August 15th will see the launch of Target's plus size line AVA & Viv's fall collection but we get our first look today. In January 2014, Target used advice from fashion bloggers Nicolette Mason, Chastity Garner-Valentine and Gabi Gregg for the line's first installment. Unfortunately, for many, the 2015 spring collection met with mixed reviews and was a little underwhelming. If you were disappointed, you may not be for long! Target, and the bloggers, have been listening. "The first AVA & VIV collection for Spring 2015 was a good start, ranging in opinions across the board, from happy to disappointed," Garner-Valentine wrote on her blog. "I have a list of suggested improvements that I've been keeping on my own and from consistent critiques from you guys as well, which I’m looking forward to chatting about with Target’s internal design team later this summer when I visit HQ again. Thank you guys for your full range of honest critiques." Judging by the behind the scenes video below, their suggestions were really taken into account this time around: Check out the ladies in some of the new pieces: target target1 target2 target3 target4 target5 There are some really cute pieces in there! I love all the patterns! What do you think? Does it look like Target listened and made clothes women might actually WANT to wear? Share your comments with us! Do you follow us on Instagram?
