The Juggler

The Juggler is my new favorite HIIT exercise! It's one I discovered just last week on Men's Health, but it's a beautiful one indeed!

The best thing about it: it's a full body exercise that includes cardio, upper body training, core training, and a good leg workout. You'll come to love it as much as I do, and it will be a wonderful addition to your workout. By the end of your 60 seconds of The Juggler, your entire body will be on fire - a beautiful feeling indeed!

Bringing the Pain

Here's how to do The Juggler:
  1. Stand in a runner's position (legs spread shoulder width apart, right foot slightly behind the left foot), and get into a half-squat position.
  2. Grab a dumbbell or kettlebell in your right hand, and turn your torso so that it's supporting the weight.
  3.  In one fluid motion, turn your torso and gently toss the weight from one hand to the other.
  4. Switch back and forth between your two hands, moving as fast as you can while still maintaining the perfect form.
It's a pretty tough exercise to master, especially if you want to start doing it at high speeds. You have to make sure that you don't drop the weight, so your fingers and forearms start to burn fairly quickly. Your entire arm is engaged to pull the weights up and catch them, and your core is worked as you pass the weight back and forth. With your legs bent in the runner's pose, you can get those thighs burning. The exercise will have you breathing hard before the end of your 60 seconds - making it one of the best full body exercises you can do! As a bonus, it's wonderful at torching that belly fat I'm working so hard to get rid of!   My new favorite HIIT exercise
