A study conducted by the University of Illinois at Chicago discovered that you can get 6 pack abs by eating high-carb foods like pasta. That’s right: Load up your spaghetti bowls - you’ll still lose weight. In fact, you can literally eat anything you want. You just want 6 pack abs, so what's the catch? You’ve got to restrict yourself to 600 calories every other day. People who stuck to this strategy lost on average 1.5lbs a week. Interestingly, weight was lost on restricted and nonrestricted days, which means our metabolisms have a longer memory than we’ve ever suspected. The study subjects also lowered their blood pressure LDL cholesterol (i.e. bad cholesterol).
