The New Chewable Way to Get Your Caffeinated Coffee Fix

Who says you have to drink your coffee? That's the thought behind Geoffrey Woo and Michael Brand from San Francisco. The duo have created a new way to consume coffee, with chewable caffein cubes! Each cube contains 35 calories, which is equal to just half a cup of Joe. They also have six grams of sugar. The product, called Go Cubes, comes in three flavours: pure drip, latte and mocha. They cost C$ 21.44  for six packs. They're also vegan, made with a blend of compounds that can aid in memory and alertness. coffee   The duo funded their project through the crowd funding site called Indiegogo, raising a total of  C$54,717.67. "We think all day about ways of helping people improve their mental performance and stay sharp all day," said Mr Woo and Mr Brand. "Before this, coffee had always been our default pick-me-up in the past, as it is for many people. Our goal with Go Cubes is to combine what people love about coffee to make a cognitive-enhancing product that's delicious, shareable, convenient, and affordable. We take pride in quality products and a brand that's both smart and down-to-earth." The cubes come in a pack of four, and will be available for international shipping by month's end. coffee2 Of the ingredients in their product, the creators wrote on their crowd-funding page, "The amount, concentration, and ratio of each compound in Go Cubes were specifically drawn from double-blind, peer-reviewed journal studies that statistically significantly demonstrate the compound's efficacy and safety. The amount of theanine in a cup of green tea is approximately 20 mg. The amount of caffeine is approximately 50 mg. This is approximately a 1:2 ratio of theanine : caffeine. Broad scientific journal consensus and journal studies have demonstrated a ratio of 2:1 theanine : caffeine significantly improves cognitive performance and alertness, beyond just each compound standalone. Please review further exposition of theanine and caffeine. Vitamin B6 has been shown to aid cognitive function. In fact, the Mayo Clinic specifically recommends 20 mg of B6 for nootropic benefits - exactly the amount of B6 in two Go Cubes. Research shows that theanine + caffeine have strong positive effects on word recognition, rapid visual information processing, critical flicker fusion threshold, attention switching and mood beyond placebo and beyond just caffeine. These cognitive benefits are clearly beneficial for improving performance on cognitively demanding tasks." Are you interested in trying this product out?
