These 14 Pregnant Athletes Didn't Give Up Their Workouts - And Are Basically Superwomen

There is no doubt that the debate as to whether pregnant women should continue to pursue intense physically activity is on-going. This largely is due to concern for mom and baby's safety, however most doctors and fit moms are dispelling the myth that it's dangerous.
According to the Mayo Clinic, it is perfectly fine for a woman to continue to remain athletic, if she was doing it prior to getting pregnant. (Activities like scuba diving, contact sports or anything that forces a pregnant woman to lie on her back are still deemed potentially dangerous) In fact, working out while carrying can prevent back issues, enhance mood and make sleep better! It goes without saying that not every exercise is suitable for every pregnant woman, but these women were just too incredible not to share (and they were obviously OKed by their docs!)
