I think it's now become routine for me to make healthy meals, yay!

Day 23 and I get to start working out again soon! As soon as I have finished the antibiotics I'm back on it, yay! Today has been a pretty relaxed day for me, I have rested a lot in the hope that it will get me over tonsillitis quicker. I've eaten really well again today, I actually think that I'm now in a routine of eating healthy meals. It just seems far more normal for me to throw a salad together than it does to reach for a chocolate bar. My meals for today were: Breakfast: Porridge Lunch: Flourless protein pancakes from the Catching Fire guide...served with a spoonful of greek yoghurt and blueberries Snack: Green vitality smoothie Dinner: Grilled chicken with cauliflower and pumpkin pie mash from the Catching Fire guide I tried the flourless pancakes yesterday and decided that today I would add some greek yoghurt and blueberries to them, it was amazing! Easily the best protein recipe I've ever tasted. I gave some (begrudgingly) to my Fiance too, and he has requested more on his next day off. They really are delicious! photo 1 The grilled chicken recipe was good, but in my opinion not as good as the other recipes I've tried from the guide. It didn't have the excitement that the others did, both visually and in taste. I think it's just because I really struggled to eat the cauliflower without gravy. The pumpkin pie mash was amazing though! I will be using that with another meal sometime. photo 2 Tomorrow is the award ceremony for my university course and I'm not really feeling up to going with my tonsillitis, but I'm excited. I am slightly anxious though because there's a free three course meal. It's a set meal...which means I will have no choice over what I am given to eat. After all this time of making careful food choices I am hoping that whatever I'm given tomorrow won't undo any of my hard work. I'm looking forward to it though, I am just going to class it as my treat day, and keep my fingers crossed that I receive an award! I can't wait to start working out again! Keep pushing guys.
