Becoming a new mother is a beautiful thing. But, if you're being honest with yourself, then you know the whole ordeal, from being pregnant to being a new parent, isn't all so pretty.
Don't want to admit it? Line Severinsen is a proud mother of two. She's also a talented artist from Bergen, Norway. In 2012, she decided she wanted to highlight the not so glamorous parts of motherhood with a series of illustrations that undoubtedly make you laugh.
And ever since, Severinsen has created some seriously spot on illustrations that you'll find yourself nodding in agreement over.
"I thought to myself that there is no way that no other people felt and looked like I did. So I wanted to create a counterpoint to help people like me to understand that they weren’t alone and that it is OK to feel and act less than perfect sometimes," she said to Huffington Post.
Take a look at the pictures from her Instagram account.
This is Line Severinsen.
She is an artist and mother from Norway.
She likes to (hilariously) highlight the struggles of motherhood.
She covers all the challenges. From swollen feet...

to cramps at night…
And not so harmonious lullabies…
To all the hair growth…
Not being able to party…
Stuff in the bedroom getting real weird…
…and feeling bloated all the time.
And the struggles don't stop after birth.
Severinsen perfectly shows the challenges of a new mom…
Like having to pump breast milk in public places…
Sending your kids off to their first day of school...
And even leaving your baby home with the hubby.

As a mother, can you relate to any or all of these illustrations?
