A typical 17-year-old boy can often be found chasing girls, hanging at the mall, playing backyard football with buddies on the weekends and perhaps still trying to pass their driving test. But one young man defeats the odds, to say the least.
Kyle Taylor from Darwin, Australia is still in school, yet somehow he has more life experiences than many of us have pulled off in our entire lifetime. From hanging off helicopters to swimming with whales and taking selfies with puffer fish, this dude is one adventurous daredevil.
His never-ending escapades fill his social media pages. From skydiving and bungee jumping to free climbing, he's incredibly skilled as a thrill seeker.
"I do these things because I love it, it's the simplest explanation. My focus is to create these amazing images and share them with the world in hopes to inspire people to get away from the couch, make them realise that they only have one chance at life," Kyle said.
"My favourite sport is skydiving. It is such a freeing feeling being able to fly around the clouds, to not worry about what is happening tomorrow or what happened yesterday but what is happening in that exact moment."
In the image with the whale, Kyle's hand comes up from underneath the ocean, sporting the shaka symbol while a whale's giant fin is spotted just mere meters away. "I kept seeing various photos of people getting selfies with turtles or other fish. I saw the puffer fish and it had suddenly paused so I didn't waste the moment and tried to get a selfie which resulted in an awesome shot," he said.
The Darwin High school student says he doesn't live a life full of adrenaline rushes, despite all of the photos on his social media accounts. "When I get an adrenaline rush it usually means something has gone wrong. I try to stay calm and collected with the activities that I do, this is what keeps me safe and stops me from making silly mistakes. If I'm not confident that I can do something I won't do it, but if I know I can do something I will charge at it and won't let anything stop me from doing so!"
"For the majority of my images I use a GoPro for the reasons that it's small and has excellent quality allowing me to take it anywhere I go whether that's jumping out of plane or free diving with sharks," Kyle said.

"Just do whatever you want. Get out of your comfort zone and don't let fear hinder you. Ignore what other people think about you," Kyle encourages.
What do you think of these breathtaking photos? Would you ever have the guts to take on similar experiences?
