This Is How One Woman Kickstarted Her 40-Pound Weight Loss Journey

With so many diet plans readily available for us to pick from, it can be hard to know which one is right for you. And when you're desperate to slim down, you'll often times try anything. When you try a diet plan that isn't right for you, the chance of you failing to reach your goals is high. For one woman, she said enough was enough of trying to carry out someone else's idea of dieting, and chose to devise a personal plan that would suit her needs, her body and her goals. "The long hours of my job, the late night pizza runs, the company cafeteria, and the constant barrage of baked goods in the office (not to mention solo midnight trips to the corner market for my favourite indulgences) had me quickly outgrowing my clothes and feeling increasingly moody and tired. The no carb diet, the no fat diet, juice fasting and Jenny Craig were all among the ones she attempted. But as the next few years faded away, she continued to find herself often weighing even more than she originally had.
