This is the Perfect Bed Time to Get the Best Night's Sleep

When the winter starts to creep up on us, getting out of bed can feel near impossible. Your clock says 7am but it is still dark and dreary! You wake up feeling exhausted and ready to do nothing more than roll over, pull up the covers and stay exactly where you are. The good news is, science has found the answers to a perfect night's sleep. Yay, science! A new study has found that 55% of people have difficulties sleeping over the winter months. According to the study, people sleep an average of 6 hours and 15 minutes per night between October and February. That is 40 minutes less than they do during the summer months. So researchers went ahead and asked 1000 people for their perfect winter sleep recipe. This is where it gets specific. It turns out that 10:37pm is the perfect time for bed. The unfortunate thing is that the study doesn't specify whether or not we should all be getting into bed at 10:37 or if we should already be asleep by then. sleep But before you arrange your schedule and set your PVR, a perfect sleep isn't just about what time you hit the sheets. When you go to bed, wear cotton pajamas, have a hot water bottle nearby, use 13.5tog duvet with an optional throw blanket and sleep on goose feather pillows. Told you it was specific.
