Just to prove how realistic the pants looked, the model went shopping, looked at artwork, got on a packed train, and more throughout the city. No matter where she went, no one seemed to notice. At least not until she went to buy a train ticket, when a man did a double-take, slowly walking by the model to get a closer look at her legs. This is when the model revealed the words on the back of her shirt hidden beneath a gold backpack: "No pants are the best pants."
Once this was revealed, more people began to pick up on what was going on. One man even stopped to film her.
The artist, Sandra Bakker, is a Hong Kong-based professional face and body painter who has been featured in magazines and walked runways around the world. Now, she specializes in special effects make-up for horror films, TV shows and theatre productions.
And this is not the first time a model has gone sans-pants in the name of art. Another video showed Leah Jung in NYC with painted on jeans as well. Very few people caught on, except for the likes of a man snapping a photo of Leah, who she caught in the act. Do you think you would have noticed a woman wearing body paint instead of pants?
