If, like me, your problem areas are your legs and butt, then you've probably spent ages looking for the best exercises to work those areas.
If you want a butt that makes people stop and stare in awe, and super toned legs, then look no further.
Here is a list of my top 5 exercises to burn fat and gain muscle in your legs and butt:
5 Butt raises
This move seriously works your glutes (your butt) and boy do you feel it. If you don't have anything to raise your feet onto then you can just place them on the floor to simplify this. Don’t think that just because you are lying on your back that this is going to be easy, you definitely feel it working.
This is great for toning your legs all around and lifting your butt. Don’t get carried away and do this too fast though, you will feel it more if you go at a steady pace. You could even do this move while watching TV if you need something to take your mind off the pain of working out.
3 Inner thigh lifts
These target my main problem area; the inner thighs. It may feel very strange to start with as it isn’t an area that often gets isolated in workouts, but stick with it and you will see results. It’s an odd feeling, but it’s definitely worth it.

Lunges are one of the best known leg and butt exercises, and rightly so. They tighten up your legs, and also work your abs because you have to use your core to balance. They are quite a simple move to perform, even for beginners, but don’t underestimate the power of lunges.
Ask almost anyone who regularly works out what they think of squats and they will probably say it’s a love/hate relationship. People hate them because they hurt. I can’t hide it, they’re hard work. But people love them because they get results. They’re my number one because this is the move that has given me the best and quickest results. No leg workout would be complete without squats. Here are 5 top reasons you should do full squats.
Remember to always warm up before, and cool down after a workout, and most importantly remember that these moves alone will not tone you up. A healthy lifestyle is the most important thing to fat loss.
To get the best results your diet needs to be clean, and your workout needs to be dirty!
Don’t be afraid to add a little weight to these moves once you are used to them -- it will improve your results. Obviously, take it at your own pace though.
Burning fat and gaining muscle takes time, be patient and work hard and you will see results.
