UFC Superstar Ronda Rousey Named One of Forbes Magazine's '40 under 40’

The media can't get enough of mixed martial artists Ronda Rousey these days. She's a record-breaking babe with a big attitude and a big smile (when she's not trying to size up her opponents, of course). There's been a ton of talk surrounding the athlete from her personal mottos, her intense and unique workout routines, the way she prepares for a big fight, how she reaches out and connects with her fans and, of course, there's the anticipation surrounding her upcoming November fight against Holly Holm. Needless to say, it seems where there is Rousey, there is most certainly victory. In addition to holding the title for UFC Bantamweight Champion, she's now one of the lucky and talented among Fortune magazine's '40 under 40.' Ronda Rousey The magazine has already listed Rousey as one of the highest-paid female athletes in the world. And as for this new honour they've presented her? Rousey is incredibly grateful, giving them a shoutout in an Instagram post. According to Forbes, the list is a proud collection of the most influential young people in business. Those who make the list are wide and varied — members from all sorts of fields — but they have one thing in common for sure: "they make their own rules." The magazine says of the 28-year-old superstar, who comes in at No. 40 on the Forbes list, that she made the cut for "inspiring women everywhere with a recent speech about body image that's been viewed 3.1 million times and was played onstage by Beyonce in September."
