Very Pregnant Woman Teaches Dance Class And The Haters Have Plenty To Say

Christina Litle is a mother of two and is 27 weeks pregnant with her third child. She owns a photography company and teaches dance at Napa High in California. You would think that a woman who chooses to maintain her fitness routines, when medically possible, while pregnant would be celebrated and not chastised! While most comments are of a positive, supportive nature, there are many who are outraged by this video of Litle leading her class at nearly 7 months pregnant. It can help to prevent that dreaded excess weight gain, it can relieve stress and it can help ease aches and pains. There are even people who swear it has helped them have an easier, drug free delivery. When it comes to pregnancy and child bearing (to say nothing of child rearing), everyone seems to have an opinion. Having an opinion is fine. But when you use your opinion to judge and shame another person, you've crossed a line. Why is it that someone else believes they know better than the expectant mother? If there are no medical complications and she feels able to do so, a pregnant woman is free to do whatever activity she desires. This is Litle's third time around. Shouldn't we trust that she knows what's what when it comes to her body and her baby? Not all pregnant women require bed rest. Not all unborn babies are at great risk. What do you think?
