Water Bottle With Just Three Spears of Asparagus: Whole Foods Being Mocked For Selling for $6
You have probably heard of cucumber water, lemon water, mint water, etc. Have you heard of asparagus water? California Whole Foods is now selling water with 3 pieces of asparagus.
This whole foods store was actually forced to take the $6 bottles of asparagus water off the shelves. The water bottles were first spotted by a shopper in the Los-Angeles area who took a photo and uploaded it to Instagram.
Whole Foods mentioned that this product happened to be mistakenly added to the shelves. Liz Burkhart told USA Today that they don’t sell asparagus water in the stores. The asparagus water was intended to be sold with an essence with mushrooms or vegetables that would be made over a longer time-frame and would be soaked in water. She said it was a mistake and had been removed since.
