Weight Loss-What is the Point?
You set a goal, Weight Loss. You scoured the internet looking for every tip and trick to help you reach it. You tried many diets, spent thousands of dollars, counted calories and even ate food you hated.
The Good News: You lost the weight!! Congratulations!
The Bad News: You had to do it, over and over and over again.
As a Nutritionist who has spent thousands of hours with weight loss clients, I can tell you that you are in good company. Everyone at one point or another has thought that regardless of “how” they lose the weight, when they meet their goal, they will be able to maintain it.
TRUTH: They (yes I’m talking to you) are WRONG
Countless studies have shown that over 80% of people who lose weight will regain it within two years and that number can go as high as 95% after 5 years. No wonder the Weight Loss Industry is HUGE!
Here is what I tell my clients: “If you start a “diet” that you can not do for the REST OF YOUR LIFE, you have already FAILED”!
The most important part about losing weight is HOW you go about it. Losing weight for the sake of “weight loss” without taking into consideration your health is a huge mistake.
My mission is to help educate you on nutrition so that you will know how and what to eat and never have to depend on a gimmicky diet again! As you will soon learn, I'm committed and I’m here to listen and answer your questions! Have you been on multiple diets only to have to start from scratch each time? Share your story! Have an opinion, lets hear it!
Best in health,
Ciara Foy
