Lauren Anthony, 22, a video editor, said "My first thought was that I really didn't want to eat it. It's pretty unnatural to eat a black burger and it didn't appeal to me at all. I found the colour immediately off-putting. There's no way of making a burger with a black bun look appetising. It tasted better than I thought, but the bread was really dry and tasted floury. I can see why some people might enjoy it but it just wasn't for me."Jess Long, 22, a video editor, said "The burger looked more the less the same as any other Burger King burger except the bun is black! It does look very artificial and that it could have been made out of play-doh. I was expecting more of a burnt look. The colouring was kind of exciting! The idea of a black burger just seems criminal to me. It is always good to try something new but they could have added something else to the bun to make it look more spooky. It tasted no different to any other Burger King burger I have had." Padraig Prendergast, 26, a journalist, said "The black colour when you open the box is a bit alien - it's scary. The colour is off-putting yet intriguing at the same time. The first thought I had was, what on God's earth is this going to taste like? The answer: sweet, dry, floury bread. Not that different from usual burgers. It's mad how the colour black can make our mind think that this is automatically going to be vile. I would buy it as a laugh after a night out for a friend just to see their reaction or if they'd even notice at all!" Would you buy this burger? Source: Daily Mail Do you follow us on Instagram?
