Why This Mom Stripped Down In Public To Promote Her Message!

Amy Pence-Brown is close to 40, and has personally described herself as a "fat feminist mother". In an act of defiance, Amy made the brave decision to get nearly naked in a public market in Idaho and have strangers comment on her body. She had them literally comment on her body. She blindfolded herself and stood there in a bikini with markers in hand. At her feet was a sign that invited passersby to draw a heart on her skin to support self-love. The stand for self-love resulted in people of all ages, genders and body types coming together for body acceptance. "All bodies are good bodies." Amy explains. "I was a chubby kid turned curvy teen turned fat mother, but have been at peace with my body for many years. I was hoping this project would help others do the same." She instills that message to everyone she knows, and especially to her young children. Amy dreams of a world free of body shaming and insecurity, and hopes her little project changed the perspectives of at least a few people. After it went viral, her video has touched the hearts of millions.  Many people have reached out to Amy to share how her video has helped them.
